  I used Sterling Law office for what was a simple modification of child support, custody and visitation. I utilized their "flat fee" thinking that we could get the issues resolved easily and I could save some money. I was assigned an attorney with limited experience (6years), but again my issues were minor and I felt we could get things accomplished. I was wrong, from the beginning I felt my attorney was not aggressive enough in pursuing my changes, not pushing for the judge to enforce the existing order and not filing a contempt motion. Communication was also an issue as I was not copied on any of the communications between attornies. As a result I was forced to hire a more experienced attorney to take my issues to trial 14 months after I first filed.
